The women of Twin Lakes Community Church have many opportunities for connecting with other women, serving, and growning in their spiritual walk with God. We have a Women's Ministry leadership Team in place and there are many others who have input and assist with the care and outreach to women at Twin Lakes. Here are a few of the ways you can be involved.
Weekly Bible Studies:
Monday evenings at 6:30pm and Thursday mornings at 10:00am
Note: the Monday evening Bible Study is taking a break during August and will resume on September 13th.
A new Women's Bible Study will begin in September
We need to order the books as soon as possible so please sign up at the Women's Ministry table at the back of the sanctuary. The book sets will cost $16.00. Make payment to the church office. Checks are to be made to the church and can be placed in the offering bag, memo "Women's Bible Study book".
Praisersize
Praisersize meets Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights at 5:00-6:00pm
Secret Sister Prayer Partner Program
The Secret Sister Prayer Program is an annual commitment that many women are involved in. The current program will end in February 2011. A "Reveal Party" is being planned. Watch for details on the reveal party and for how to sign-up for the 2011 Secret Sister Program.
Monthly Women's Ministry Brunches
The Women's Ministry host a brunch on most months of the year on the first Saturday of the month. Watch the bulletin for the details.
Scrapbooking/Potluck
Every Third Satuday of the month, we do a scrapbooking/potluck. It's not just for scrapbookers either! You can bring any craft project & a dish to share, and come and fellowship with your sister's in Christ!
Annual events include a special time for women and girls to join together for an event the first Saturday in May. And the Women of Faith Conference is held in September in Anaheim.
Plans for 2011 will begin soon and will include many of the items listed above and some additional events we hope to include on the church calendar. There may be some special events during the monthly brunch dates and we are talking about planning a women's retreat to be held on a Friday night and all day on Saturday at the church.
